Spouse of the Prime Minister of Belize and Chair of Spouses of CARICOM Leaders Action Network (SCLAN), Mrs. Kim Simplis Barrow, along with First Lady of Guyana and Vice Chair of SCLAN, H.E. Mrs. Sandra Granger, meeting with ‘Together for Girls’ CEO, Ms. Daniela Ligiero, at the International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam.

Together for Girls is a global public-private partnership dedicated to ending violence against children, with a particular focus on sexual violence against girls. Founded in 2009, the Together for Girls partnership brings together national governments, UN agencies and private sector organizations to prevent and respond to violence, as a fundamental step to achieving individual rights and well-being, gender equality, and sustainable development.

SCLAN is glad to have had the opportunity to connect with Ms. Ligiero, and is optimistic that their initial meeting will lead to the possibility of future collaboration and networking for the safety and well-being of girls and adolescents in the Caribbean.
